DCYFL Is back with a Bigger League and with Bigger Vision. We are a highly innovative organization that is looking to give our kids the best experience, without compromising the fundamentals of the game. DCYFL is pairing technology and great people to give our youth the biggest stage in youth sports. DCYFL is striving to provide a very safe and unforgettable experience for all youth! We are DCYFL!!! That’s what we do!!!

MISSION

Reach One Teach One- DCYFL strives to provide our youth with the necessary knowledge and skills to be ready for the next level of play. We will do this by having league wide training and training for each coach in the organization.

Vision

Our vision for the DCYFL is to promote sportsmanship, fellowship, and citizenship by providing knowledge, fun, recreation, and competitive sports through voluntary participation. This league is intended to provide all boys and girls the opportunity to participate in football and cheerleading and be recognized on a national level.

RYAN CORNIST ANDREW TAYLOR DEDRIC BAILEY MELODY WHITE JOANNA RIDGE

RYAN CORNIST

Ryan is a devoted husband and father to 5 beautiful children. Before transitioning  to real estate, Ryan spent the last several years serving children in the juvenile justice and foster care systems. Ryan’s passion is to continue to serve families by training and coaching today’s youth and by helping people find their forever home.
He also has an extensive background in ministry, giving him a loving heart towards others in need. He and his family currently reside in Denton TX, where he enjoys fishing, writing music, and coaching youth sports.

ANDREW TAYLOR

Father and G-Paw, graduated from Denton High School and then attended  Mary-Hardin Baylor and NCTC. He played Semi-Pro ball where he won multiple championships and was voted to 8 Allstar games. Coach Taylor started coaching and co-founded a Select football program, where he earned travel coach of the year and coached against some elite football players and coaches. His favorite Bible verse is Matthew 6:33. “My love and passion for kids and football is what inspires me to make a difference in kids’ lives,” says Coach Taylor.

DEDRIC BAILEY

Coach Bailey is the proud father of 3 daughters. He has been coaching and  mentoring youth for 8 years. He is one of the original founding members of the Denton Spartans Youth organization. Coach Bailey has made his mission to help the youth of Denton County through sports. He has identified the youth of Denton and surrounding areas, lacking leadership and guidance through these troubling times. Teaches the youth the importance of dedication, faith, hard work, perseverance and team work. “Reach One, Teach One” is his motto. Leadership by example

MELODY WHITE

JOANNA RIDGE

Joanna was born and raised in Denton. Growing up her parents were always a  big part of the Hispanic community and she knew that she wanted to follow their footsteps and what better way than being involved with her Denton youth. She married her high school sweetheart; Jeremy Ridge and now they are blessed to have 2 boys Jace Ridge (12U) and Jett Ridge (6U). She’s always loved football but there is nothing that beats watching her kids playing and loving the sport as much as she does
